Cardinia Healthy Education Network

The Cardinia Healthy Education Network was formed by Monash Health and the Cardinia Food Movement to support schools and early learning centres with their food, health and gardening initiatives.

The group meets once a term and provides an opportunity for educators to:

  • Share their challenges, successes and lessons and learn from each other’s experience;

  • Participate in capacity building activities (workshops, tours, talks) organised in response to requests from the educators;

  • Build a local network of supportive colleagues and organisations to draw on in their practice;

An online platform is also being created to facilitate communication across the group in addition to the quarterly meetings.
