Pakenham Community Garden

The Pakenham Community Garden, located at 6 Henry Street, uses organic chemical-free gardening principles and is collectively managed by a diverse group of volunteers.

Originally set up in 2007 by a group of local residents and community organisations, the Community Garden is a public food garden featuring fruit trees, raised self-watering garden beds as well as a variety of perennial herb plants and ornamental flowers.

There is a weekly gardening session on Mondays from 9am-12pm, and there are always monthly weekend working bees and a monthly workshop on different topics related to gardening.

Check out our Community Calendar for upcoming events and activities at the Pakenham Community Garden. Or if you would like to stay up to date with these recurring events, please contact the Garden Coordinator via email at communitygarden@livinglearning.org.au.
